Derek is officially a Lieutenant as of today, December 11, 2006. The kids and I took him and his crew an ice cream cake to celebrate his first shift at his new position.

- We are Derek, Tracy, Katelyn, Nicholas and Natalie Grafton. We live in Oregon. Derek is a firefighter, Tracy is a stay-at-home mom and the kids are pretty terrific kids. We live on 2.5 acres just outside of the city and we raise alpacas. We are happiest when we are spending quality time with each other, on the lake, or on the beach in Maui.
